Brian Howe is practical with all things mechanical and has a passion for tractors and boats, which also goes back nearly 20 years since moving to Whangaparaoa. The opportunity to buy DTP brought together the interest with tractors into work which was too good an opportunity to turn down. Brian has a wealth of business management experience to ensure the focus remains on providing a high level of customer service and quality parts.

The speedway experience is also apparent in Brian's background having been actively involved with working on and racing stockcars for over 10 years at Waikaraka park through the 1980's. Tractor repair and servicing has been an ongoing interest, especially with the Massey Ferguson range. His first, a TE20, purchased for $200, to his current, a MF35.

In 2017, the business relocated to Silverdale and operated a showroom for many years on Manga Road.

In 2025, the business relocated again to Stanmore bay, Whangaparaoa. Special thanks to my IT Team Chris and Renee, who solve problems that i can only dream about resolving.
